Started great (kudos to Poulin), played like shit in the last 40. Still had 50 shots, but I wouldn't say they carried the play much after the first period. 2nd was just pond hockey on both sides, 3rd had a little more flow at least.
Nucks perked up in OT.

call that a bonus 2 points, as they didn't really deserve it.
highlight was Glass landing that shot on Martin.
lowlight was his weak-assed effort to clear the puck


DaB&N, what do you think of Grabner, after watching him for a while?

I'm just glad that we have stopped seeing the weak-shot-out-of-a-scrum-zip-through-the-five-hole goals every game.*
Also, holy crap, they won another shootout! (that's TWO)

DaB&N, what do you think of Grabner, after watching him for a while?

I like Grabner's speed & skill set. He's admitted himself that he should have a few more goals. He needs to be playing with better players just like Tavares. He's on pace for 18 goals. On the Isles that's good. Okposo could be back soon so that could really help the team. The more talent the better.

Poulin is the real deal.
