I'm not going to the game tonight, so you can pretty much guarantee a Caps' win.

It doesn't quite have the same weight it used to, but Roberto Luongo has enjoyed a decided advantage in his career against Alex Ovechkin and his teams.
Luongo is a decisive 10-1 against games in which he's played Ovie. In those games he has a .935 save percentage, and has stopped Ovechkin on all three shootout attempts and two breakaways. Ovechkin has four goals against Luongo on 49 shots.
And that doesn't even include the Olympics win Luongo and Team Canada enjoyed over the hapless Russians.
You could say Luongo is in Ovie's head, but with the way Ovechkin is playing it seems obvious the only thing in his head is saving himself for the playoffs.

I doubt playing once a year either of these guys are in "the other's head," and I also doubt that OV is just saving himself for the playoffs. He's struggling.

Canucks' effort level is obviously better than last night.

Effort level compared to last nights first period looks comparable to me

New york played it ultra tight ... Don't think the caps are capable of that but we'll see
