They definitely missed the high stick. It's unfortunate for the Canes, but stuff happens. Just the other night, Chimera was high sticked and they withdrew the call alleging it was a skate that caused the damage! They called the penalty then took it back after a discussion amongst officials...AND IT WAS THE WRONG CALL!!

Agreed, by the time the penalty occurred, he had all but skated himself out of his breakaway.
