Toronto is banking on a fuck ton of youngsters, the Sens Jets and Habs are all kind of in a weird neutral place where they have a few stars and aren't terrible but you also can't see them challenging for a Cup in the near term without their GM's doing something drastic, Coilers gonna Coil and Vancouver is stuck somewhere between bad and rebuilding so long as the Sedins are wearing that scoliotic orca on their chests.

Give Calgary a goalie and they're pushing 100 points this year. Pity. Actually fix it this summer and they should be comfy next year. The rest are in varying degrees of shit and none deserves any recognition above the others.

I'll say this much - if it takes 3 more years for the Leafs to make the playoffs I'll be disappointed. If Buffalo can make a 26 (guessing they'll pick up a few more in their final 3 games) point jump from season-to-season there's no reason the Leafs can't make a 15-20 pt jump with the guys they've called up since the deadline plus a few signings/trades. Build on from that and I think they could make a run for a wild card in 2017-18.

Cameron can lead a PK to at least 50%. So we've got that going for us, which is nice.
