does it count against the cap if we release idiotic players?

is their idiotic money guaranteed.

Either we need the reincarnation of a sith lord to control these guys, or we need to field a roster that the coaches can actually control.

This is the kind of crap (I believe) that led to us losing Carson Palmer and having to start all over with dandy dalton. it's only so long before other players have enough and want to go to a more organized environment engineered to actually preparing for and winning games.

Well, the guys Palmer was sick of weren't really getting it done on the field.... That's the issue. Burfict is a difference maker on the field. Jones was our best corner (by far) all season. That defense was significantly better when Burfict returned from injury. The issue is whether he can reign in the crazy..... That remains to be seen.

If
the Bengals release Burfict, 31 teams will be trying to sign him tomorrow. No thanks, I'd still rather him be in my team than not. The mental shit can be worked on, you can't teach that talent, and he's one of the very best in the league.

who does Suh play for? that's where he would go. I don't think most teams want him.

he would be a good fit for Pittsburgh though, most of his hits would instantly be transformed as "legal clean hits" as viewed by the league.

Such got 60 million guaranteed from Miami.... 31 other teams would have taken him in a heartbeat if he wasn't so expensive.

that's what they want you to think.

31 teams passed on burfict because they thought he was a head case.

bad publicity seems to interfere with teams more so than it did in the past.

They saw Burficts past and his combine workout and said no way. They seen him play NFL football now, and while he has a tendency to self destruct, on a team that can overcome that or need an x's and o's leader on defense, no way they don't go after him. Guenther says Burfict is an extension of himself on the field and sees things so quickly that Guenther doesn't have to make as many adjustments because Burfict is already realigning players into the right alignment.

Burfict wasn't drafted because he was out of shape and looked horrible at the combine.

Look at some of the headcases and alcoholics that go in the first round..... A few personal fouls wouldn't have scared any teams.

You put Burfict on the Patriots, and that shit would stop. Why? Good coaches and teammates that don't put up with that kind of garbage. Burfict is a product of Marvin Lewis' system, period.

if Burfict was on a media darling team, then he would be backed up with support like Tom Brady is.

Dallas just signed and called a guy a leader who beat a woman and threw her on a couch full of guns. I don't think what Burfict did would bother them much.
