Can we beat them?? I mean seriously, do we have what it takes to beat this team?? Can we beat any team with a QB who can do anything more than limp??

I'm none too confident about the next game on our schedule........I'll tell you that much.

hell no. my expectation have diminished greatly. When you don't hire assistant coach's that are on or above your intelligence level, you screw yourself. Never hire people with the same strength's as your own. Never hire people that are dumber than you are. Your only as good as the people you surround yourself with.

Dented walls and my head bruises rule the roost in this household. Mobile QB's will cause great pain for this defense. I see a big struggle ahead in Evanstown or ville or what ever they call it. Mich. State and Michigan will be tough games to win with one quick QB running Ohio States game plan and the other with a stout defense and a loud crowded away game causing Tito to make bad decisions - of course IMHO

Nebraska won't beat Northwestern. Every game left on the schedule is a tough one to win. Even Minnesota has improved dramatically. Penn State and Iowa are improving each week. I could see a nightmare scenario where Nebraska has to win in Iowa City to become bowl eligible.

I started to sip the kool-aid when they came back against Wiskey but Bo didn't disappoint me this week. I expected and predicted a OSU blowout. I'm starting to think that my 6-6 prediction may have been a pipe dream...

They have 2 weeks to prepare for Northwestern. If they foul up after this, with two weeks to prepare, and we see the same thing we did with OSU, then I will put it all on the coaching. If Bo's "I haven't forgot how to coach defense" game plan doesn't pan out this time, then I will say that he's not the guy for this team and needs to go, or change out his assistants for someone who's not a buddy from Ohio and has actual coaching experience at a successful program. I just don't know how we get around the undisciplined play that we have seen from his recruits; some of that has to go on them too, no matter how bad we think the talent and depth may be lacking on the line(s).

Mullen? Bo is not going anywhere. He is not going to get fired. He is not going to quit. He is not getting hired away to a better school. If he is fired; you wont find any coach that wants this gig. The only people that would take the job are JJM or Jed....or Scott Frost and the aforementioned guys may be better qualified.

Bo overestimated himself with the bullshit line when he got hired of he doesn't care about stars attached to recruits because he will make them stars....well that didn't work out; so you saw a renewed emphasis on recruiting starting last season. It will be two-three years before Nebraska makes any noise in the college football world...
