At this current moment it's a 36 pt lead (62-26) and the Spurs are thoroughly dominating the Mavs. If they keep their foot on the pedal could this get to a be 50 point deficit tonight?

It doesn't look like it but that's only because the Spurs took their foot off the gas. The Spurs are the epitome of team basketball. You look at the Mavs and they just don't have a clue on either side of the ball. They have way too many players who only care about scoring, not enough people willing to accept a role, and no good defenders outside of Wes Matthews in the starting line up. One of the worst built "playoff" teams in the NBA.

The SPURS are already down two of their key players in Duncan & Ginobili.
They have a back to back in less than 24 hours, 9 consecutive road games (two more road-back-to-back).

There was no way in hell they were keeping their starters in after halftime.
Once they had the big lead, it was autopilot with the deep scrubs.

They are going to try and take every chance to rest their remaining players during this stretch.
It was the battle of each teams 11th and 12th man in the second half.
