Can anyone update me on 2013 Basketball Recruiting??

I've heard the names Powell and Thomas but was wondering what else is out there and if we have a shot at any bigger name guys?

Our 2012 recruiting class is done. There is only going to be one scholarship available for the 2013 class (Erick Green's scholarship) unless someone transfers.

Hopefully, someone "in the know" will stop by and add some more info.

Seems like they are prototypical Seth Greenburg guards if nothing else. Long and athletic.

Erick Green is a junior. Tyrone Garland is transferring, and this is JT, Zo, and Davillas last seasons. 4 scholarships, 4 commits. Also, I'd put Thomas and Powell as Soft Commits ATM.

That's what I said. Our 2012 class is done assuming they stay committed, but he asked about the 2013 which only has one opening because Erick Green is the only scholarship junior.

So I see Troy Williams tweeted that we are in his final five. I haven't heard much of anything about this, so my guess is that we are not legit contenders.

He seems destined for UK or UNC. Anyone know anything further than that?

Was just going to post this. Saw it on twitter today. Rivals doesn't even have us in his list of schools he's interested in.

He's a 6'6" small forward, so you know Seth is going to recruit the shit out of him

He played for Boo Williams in AAU which is the same team DFS played for.

Basketball recruiting is so shady that most recruiting services place little emphasis on it because it's difficult to follow. It's all quiet until a kid commits in most situations. Completely different than football so we really have little information to who is being actively recruited.

Yeah I would agree BOO Williams nephew is probably headed to one of the more prestious schools but if doe doe is in his ear Seth greenberg has proven to be a good recruiter so perhaps he can reel in one of the nations top defensive wings..

It looks like we've offered both bigs and 1's for 2013. Obviously its possible we end up with more than spot if Powell/Thomas don't qualify.

Anybody heard anything about Stanford Robinson or Kennedy Meeks?
