Rams are working on a plan to move Sammy Brown from OLB to DE for flexibility and depth. He is taking reps with the 2's at DE AND OLB. He came into camp at 260 up from 245 last season.

Also Jeff Fisher is bringing in Houston Oiler/Tennessee Titan great Keith Bulluck to work with Alec Olgetree.... this can ONLY be a good thing!

ksu - Fisher is pulling out all the stops and I feel the players sense his optimism for success this season!

ksu, I know Kendricks isn't there on the field but did you notice any double tight end at any point? I know this question could go to jacobarch also. I am just curious.

Thats a goooood way to maximize Olgetree's potential! Bring in a Proven player turned coach to show him the ropes.

I love both moves Mutigers. Ogletree will benefit and Brown, who is a pretty big dude, can play DE at 260 and pop back into a LB if needed. I like it BABY!!

blue, they were doing a bunch of 2 TE sets with Cook and McNeill....obviously, McNeill will be the #3 TE but the line is getting cohesive already... look VERY good, both 1's and 2's

So ksuDodgers. Do tell. Who is lining up at left guard with the ones? Chris Williams or Brandon Washington?

Chris Williams is lining up with the ones right now, but prevailing thought in camp is that Barrett Jones will be there week one of the regular season.

That can't be, ksudodgers. Is Barrett Jones that much better than both Williams and Washington?

His football IQ and versatility as a rookie should be unmatched. The question will be whether or not he has the strength and durability to play interior OL in the NFL. He played against some great competition but he also got beat a few times. There is almost too much film on him but Im optimistic.

Barrett may have gotten beat but the good thing about it if you can look at it this way is that he got beat against SEC/NFL Talent and not the likes of the pancakes schools in the ACC. I'm excited to see him on the field as a the future C/G.

Nice. I remember when Bulluck was drafted out of Syracuse. Can only mean good things.

ya, as some other people have pointed out already, they're doing a lot of 2 TE 2 WR 1 RB sets. With Kendricks and Cook on the field this formation is really going put some defenses on their heels. Also depending on whether or not they put Quick and pettis out of the field at the same time as the TE's those could be some big/fast dudes to cover for those little CB's :)

Trung had wheels. But he couldn't take a hit and couldn't catch a punt.
