I'm going to steal this from BBTIA because I thought it was cool and interesting and I think we'd enjoy it as well.

I make a statement, and then the person who responds to me states whether they buy that notion or they don't i.e. buy or sell. Then they state why they buy or sell and finally make their own statement at the bottom for someone else to buy or sell. I'll start.




Texas will resign Andrus before FA and move him to third base eventually and transition Beltre to DH giving us an infield of Elvis, Profar, Kinsler.

Really just depends on who the better defensive SS actually is, but Profar's bat plays up better at 3B

Buy. It makes the most sense. Also by next year add M.Olt to 1B or rf. Rangers are letting him playing some outfield in Frisco as well to see where he fits best. Whats great as that he can play a multitude of positions.

Sell on Mike Olt, I think he's trade bait at some point

I certainly don't want to see him in the OF, maybe 1B but only if the glove is up to par

He is decent at 1B and I know that his name has come up in trade talks, but mostly with the Phillies, if its for Hamels.
Word up here in Pa is that Hamels is leading toward testing FA even if he is traded, and will not resign with Philly
Rangers may make a deal , but I will predict not for Hamels

Sell. Greinke is too much of a head case and you know Milwaukee will want to replenish the farm to get back some of what they gave up for him. Texas spent their ace money on Darvish and they won't want to give up the prospects Milwaukee will want for a 3 month rental. Even if they resign him they'd be getting a total nutcase.

I'm going to say sell. He'll get one more chance to prove he's a big league starter this year with Perez waiting to swoop in if he falters.

Sell. I think Perez will be in the bullpen. He wll still be only 22 next year and will get another year of experience before getting his chance of starting in 2014.
