If a major league hitter swung a bat at an intruders head, the top half of the head would disappear. To have exit velocities at 110-116 MPH with a thick chunk of wood, that skull is bye bye.

This has been a thing for awhile across MLB and NFL - houses are easy targets when you know players are at games, and for how long, and on road-trips, etc....
