I love that we shut them out at home... But its not like the team wasn't trying, that is the only time I think booing your team is justified. I hate it when fans boo at MSG. Just shows the class of the fans. Not every night is going to be a win. That's sports.

I think I can honestly say I might rather have Sean Avery as my team captain. I thought it would take the Leafs fans a while longer to realize how badly they got fleeced, but maybe I should give them more credit?

I just don't understand a lot of the moves Burkie has made - He said he wanted to rebuild the Leafs, yet he acquires Kessel from the Bruins for two first round picks (one that turned out to be Tyler Seguin) and the B's could end up with another lottery pick this year. Then he trades for Dion Phaneuf who couldn't get along with Jarome Iginla and then makes him captain?!? Not to mention signing Colby Armstrong to a 3 year, $9 million contract?!?

Strange, strange moves.

/By the way, Colby, pick a different number, #9 is an iconic number (Howe, Rocket Richard, Hull, even Norm Ullman on the Leafs etc.) You can't even pick up the jocks of those guys.

Leafs can't score lately, but for the most part play hard. Puck just isn't going in the net right now. I suppose it's with good reason seeing as after Kessel it's pretty thin offensively.

Still think it's funny what he said about keeping Kadri in the lower ranks to not rush him and then compared him to those Ducks players yet they were brought up after what 15 games? lol @ Burke.

Although I am going to miss what I'll call the "Phaneuf Phenomenon", which is that it seemed everyone in the Alberta knows somebody who has had some sort of personal reason to dislike Phaneuf from having met him in person (yes, I am one of those that knows someone). Soon it will bring Torontonians together as well.
