Burish is real classy and tough talking after the game when chris is in the locker room. Seriously, after winning the cup a 5th line forward still has comments to say about one of the top players in the league? come on man.

As Pronger said, in response to Adam Burish's "idiot" comments,

Why is he worrying about me instead of celebrating winning the Cup? Boy, it just goes to show how much I was in his kitchen for him to be talking about me five minutes after he wins the Cup."

In all fairness, the reporter did ask him about Chris Pronger, it wasn't as if he brought the subject up. His answer may not have been classy, but it was honest.

im all for candid answers instead of the cliche but isnt it enough for him to say "I dont like Pronger, I dont like what he did picking the pucks up and I dont think he treated the media with the respect that we as pro nhl'ers should"

There is a difference between speaking your mind if you don't like someone and calling them terrible. Seriously, calling a guy who required 2 first round picks, a top prospect, and a solid winger to acquire him terrible, as opposed to a guy who will most likely fight for a roster spot and end up in the AHL next season. Terrible?

And it was real tough of him to say he might punch him if he sees him...Pronger would not even give burish the light of day to even come close to a fight. Lets sit our best dman for 5 minutes because an AHL player said something mean...

Those comments are chicken shit because Burish knows he will never even touch the ice the same time as pronger unless it is during the pre-game skate

Keep your mouth shut unless you have room to talk. Be a man

Trash talk is OK as long as is doesn't get to the point of the NBA or NFL. I mean Ochonotthinko is an example of that. Maybe he will shut up some day and do something. As far as the NBA I don't have enough time to mention the players that talk about them self and screw the team.

The thing I love about the NHL is it's team oriented and not about ME. I hope it stays that way. Maybe he was caught up in the moment and I hope that's the case. But lets be realistic here Pat Kane has an incident with a taxi driver and some make it out to be a major case.

If an NBA or NFL player did the same it's a minor nuisance unless he kills the cabbie..
