Last night on the Building the Broncos Podcast, CDumler and myself conducted a 5 round re-draft from the #Broncos’ Roster excluding the quarterback position (because whoever would get Lock would win lol)

The Goal: Win a Super Bowl in the next 5 seasons.

Here is how the draft order (snake) went

Round: Player Name (Age):

N1: Justin Simmons (26)
C1: Bradley Chubb (23)
C2: Courtland Sutton (24)
N2: Jerry Jeudy (21)
N3: Noah Fant (22)
C3: Von Miller (31)
C4: Dre’Mont Jones (23)
N4: KJ Hamler (20)
N5: Dalton Risner (24)
C5: AJ Bouye (28)

Nick’s Team: (Average Age: 22.6)

Safety: Simmons
Wide Receiver: Jeudy
Tight End: Fant
Wide Receiver: Hamler
Offensive Line: Risner

Carl’s Team: (Average Age: 25.8)
EDGE: Chubb
Wide Receiver: Sutton
EDGE: Miller
Interior DL: Jones
CB: Bouye

Which squad has the best corps and chance at winning a super bowl in the next 5 seasons?

Carl's team.

Already has pass rush. The hardest and most important thing to get in the league. And the reason you won your last Super Bowl.

I love you both but I give slight edge to Carl. Chubb is the biggest difference between both teams, imo.

Carl the better D
Nick the better O

Is this a big year for Von? Whether he retires a bronco or not?

Your team is full of potential but unknowns. Juedy could and should be better than Sutton

Miller is only valuable maybe 2 years so year 3 who knows if Miller is even here for a SB run.

I'd give the nod to Carl. Chubb touches the QB . Simmons does not.

I'm just mad Carl won the coin toss and got picks 2 and 3 because there is a clear delination after Chubb/Simmons/Sutton imo lol but I prefer my picks 4/5 to his lol
