If Glennon doesn't pan out, they always have Tebow as an option.

The way the season has gone so far if Glennon doesn't pan out they may be bad enough to be in the Teddy Bridgewater sweepstakes.

I heard Mike Glennon hangs out with Brad Pitt and George Clooney.

I'm no expert on Freeman but the few times I've seen him play, he has looked pedestrian at best. All I ever saw him do is little dump offs and screens.

the Big Three of the QB Class of 2013 have taken over

Mike Glennon (#73 overall) was the third quarterback taken in the 2013 Draft behind E. J. Manuel (#16 overall) and Geno Smith (#39 overall). After those Three, it was Matt Barkley (#98 overall), Ryan Nassib (#110 overall), Tyler Wilson (#112 overall), and Landry Jones (#115 overall). Those were the only QBs to go in the Top 200 in 2013.

ex-NFL scout Russ Lande on Jan 20, 2013:
"As I spoke to NFL personnel people in recent weeks, many told me that on film Glennon reminds them of Falcons’ QB Matt Ryan when he was at Boston College.... With a cannon arm and flashes of excellent accuracy, Glennon’s upside is what has many NFL teams excited."

Brandon Worley:
"At 6'7 and 225 pounds, Glennon is the prototype for the quintessential pocket passer in the NFL. He's tall and strong in the pocket and has an over-the-top release that allows him clear throwing lanes without danger of getting the ball batted down at the line of scrimmage."

Rotoworld:
"the Bucs have made the bold move of giving Glennon the keys to the car. Barring an injury, the rookie projects to start the rest of the year. The strong-armed, 6'7/225 Glennon is an ideal fit for OC Mike Sullivan's vertical scheme."

I had high hopes for Freeman. Started pretty well but has digressed. Switching coaches (HC/OC/qb) as well as the lockout surely haven't helped him.

He definitely showed some promise in 2010 before struggling in 2011 and kind of rebounding last year.

Rooting for Glennon for sure. Big ACC fan.
Honestly, I don't know much about him. Didn't see many of the preseason games with him.

My only "knowledge" of him was after the draft they said something like he was a carbon copy of Josh Freeman. :L

I hope they are wrong.

I still think the kid can play actually...his 2011 & 2010 seasons his completion % was decent...lot of turnovers but he was trying to bring the team from behind a lot imo. Under Schiano I think it was a mismatch from the beginning...neither guy thought much of the other.

Well he was very clutch at NC State. Lead quite a few 4th quarter comebacks. That's probably why they were comparing the 2. Other than that, they aren't similar besides arm strength. If anything, Glennon is a better prospect. Freeman just got drafted high because of his size and "talent" as everyone calls it. That's what people will say if a QB is not accurate. "But he's talented!"

I don't know much about the Glennon kid aside from a game against GT...on Freeman...'10&'11 he was 60%+...imo this was a coach/QB misfit from day one. Glennon may well make in the NFL, but I don't think his HC will.
