Agree along with Zeke. Unfortunately Zeke is playing for the team I dislike very much.

I think this new group w Nick Bosa, Cooper, and many other studs are going to be a fan favorite. Urbs is killing it on the recruiting front. I don't see any school topping us for 2017, including Bama. We may end up w 4-5 5* recruits after all said and done.

My gosh, ever since the resignation from JT, honestly I knew that the Buckeyes would bounce back, but shit it seems like they leaped over my expectations. What Urban Meyer has done, truly is unbelievable. What I mean is that he is putting together consistent recruiting classes that are top 10 every season. That's impressive when you are going up against the top SEC and PAC schools which are in warmer climate. Not an easy thing to do regardless who the coach is.

I think the younger up and coming coaches should read some of Urbs books on how to achieve greatness. Urban is very well educated and spends countless hours on how to get better. For example, learning under Bruce as a grad asst, reading numerous books in regard to leadership, psychology, and meeting legendary coaches and getting feedback from Lou Holtz, Bill Belicheck, etc. The man works his tail off. As crazy as it sounds, he actually does this and can balance time with his family, which never happened at UF. He deserves some kudos.

BTW some of the "average" players he's talking about are former players of NU's WR coach Keith Williams like Ryan Grant and James Jones, who come work out with him in the offseason and he posts videos of their drills. This is the second little twitter blowup he's had at KW. I have a feeling it's probably related to Lindsey, but that just looks immature.

It's working for now, but for how long? We just saw the A&M WR coach lose a bunch of people after acting immature on Twitter. With all the success OSU is having in recruiting, I'm just not sure why he feels the need to publicly come at the NU coach.

I agree. Urbs needs to cut that twitter BS off with the coaches just like the players. There is no need for it, the staff pretty much will get any recruit they want, but at some point, it's going to get old and sway a recruit away. Lindsey is almost a lock for OSU imo. No need to talk trash on social media.

Don't think he's a lock just yet. Locks don't usually spend their own money to go on another unofficial visit to schools they aren't going to. He might pick OSU but I've heard some pretty positive things from our camp lately. It also seems like Smith's little Twitter blowups coincide pretty closely with good news on our side from Lindsey. He just said that he was going to be visiting Lincoln again on the 24th.

Really I'm just happy to be sitting at the same table as tOSU for recruits that the last staff frankly wouldn't have bothered offering.

Our local recruiting guys were talking about how in the past they'd go down to the 5 star challenge in Atlanta and say "alright, this is great, but there are no guys here Nebraska even has a chance with" and this year we have about 7 guys down there seriously considering Nebraska.

We're in real contention for three 5 star guys this year as well. Tyjon has said he considers coach Williams "his brother" and he'll be out here on his own dime for the second time since the spring game on the 24th of this month. Also has an official scheduled for the Oregon game.

Yes, Tate Martell's parents are Tyjon's legal guardians and they're great friends, but he moved back to Cali at Taylor Martinez's old school for his SR season and he's best friends with Keyshawn Jr. and Tristan Gebbia. Plays with both of them on his 7 on 7 team sooo...

With 4 stars Patrick O'Brien and Tristan Gebbia here, both of the highest rated QB's out of CA the last two years, it's not like he's worried about getting the ball.

On top of that, tOSU was dead last in the conference in passing. Nebraska was 2nd. There could be many reasons for this, so I'm not saying it's a huge deal.

The consensus right now is it's a coin flip between Ohio State and Nebraska. He still likes Oregon A LOT. He's got a good relationship with DAT.

Damn this board is dead. Well, here is my bold prediction for our next commitment and it's a huge one. The Buckeyes just had a decommitment from one of our OLB tonight, which means a couple of things here. The first one would mean that Urban has a silent commit in the making or they have a pretty good idea that they know one of the vets is coming back for another year? My guess is that they will get both Baron Browning and Pete Werner. In fact, the crystal ball the past 2 weeks had Browning as a lock to Bama. However, after the Buckeyes game last weekend over meatchicken, Browning was not sure about his decision afer he was ready to announce. My bold prediction is Browning will announce soon and it will be TOSU. Urban was at the Browning's residence in Texas tonight, and shortly after Simmons decommited from OSU. What a huge upgrade for our defense if we get both Okudah and Browning.
