What is this board coming to when you can't ask a simply goddamn question without it being a troll? I would assume a championship contender totally dominates these lower teams, yet Ohio st. didn't, neither did UF, but I don't really consider them a title contender.

Ohio State did not look good. Braxton Miller needed to do a little more running. The offensive line was surprisingly poor in pass protection. Jordan Hall scored on 2 high school plays, where Buffalo had no one in position to block him. They need Carlos Hyde.

Defense is a work in progress. Suspensions and injuries hurt here. Still they should have done better. Buffalo might be a good MAC team but it shouldn't have been this close. That said, I'll em the benefit of the doubt and with a few suspensions being for only 1 game, it should be better next week.

Buckeyes went up 23-0. For some reason, Buckeye teams lack killer instinct. They kind of took their foot off the gas and helped Buffalo get back in the game with a hideous pick six and then a fumble.

They were never really threatened, but key players (Shazier, Miller) left the game with cramps.

The o-line was less than impressive. The defense has a long way to go, but they had only 2 starters from last year start this game (injury and suspension took 2 guys out).

Have to go tend the grill. Will type more later. Bottom line, 1-0. can't be 2-0 unless you're 1-0.

ps. not making excuses. if the Buckeyes don't play better, they won't be undefeated.

Yes suspended players out.two starting DBS out including Bradley Roby. Ryan Shazier missed a lot of the game because of hydration issues. Starting RB. Out.backup rb had 160 yards 2 tds . It could be worse .ask k st and ore st fans.
