I am hearing more and more that Peterson to UCLA is a real possibility. I never would have thought he would go there, but more people who I actually believe are talking about it.

I know they were throwing cash at Chip Kelly, but he appears to have grown toxic until some more stuff comes out.

Yes I have heard the tweets that he is 'listening more seriously to fUCLA and UNC" than any previous overtures.

Coach Pete is a family guy first. He also puts his assistants welfare very high in the list of things he cares about. He took a pay cut one year so the money could go to the assistants. While fUCLA may be willing to go for 3M on the HC they won't pay the assistants enough to make him happy. Then there's the media and the lifestyle there.

No way he goes for fUCLA. I just don't see it.

He may be using this to massage what Kustra does with respect to BSU moving or not to the BE. IMO this is a poker chip and not a serious possibility.

All it takes these days is one nut to claim something and everyone picks it up

Plenty of programs have put out tweets that there were this close to getting him and it never happened.

Pete isn't an LA kinda guy.

in other news that may actually happen Kevin Sumlin who was UCLA's 2nd option appears to be a hot topic to go to Arizona State they're working on a contract right now it seems

Being so anal about the spelling of his name makes Boise fans seem extremely petty. You know who someone is talking about whether they spell it Petersen or Peterson.

There is one reason that i think you hear that he is looking more seriously to the UNC job, and thats because it helps his repuation/image. He is friends with the AD UNC just hired, who also offered him a job at Tulsa. Petersons response at the time was to give him a call if he ever got to an AQ school. Now that Cunningham is at an AQ school, Peterson cant just say no and not sound bad. The lifestyle at UNC is something that could entice a coach to come, but Chris Peterson is never leaving Boise State, and i dont see why he would even consider leaving boise for Carolina right now.
