Everybody knew the Sens needed a forward. I knew it, you knew it, hell, even Bruce Garrioch knew it. So what does he do? Lets get another Erik Karlsson type and add to Murray's Arc...

But Tarasenko was thought to have almost as good of an offensive upside as Taylor Hall so that tells you something right there. The Russian factor was probably an issue but think about this. St. Louis traded Rundblad to the Sens because they have too many defensive prospects.
