Brunell said nothing that aint nobody already knew. This is a make or break year for Grif. He whiffs he's gone from DC. That simple. Some other team will sign him for minimal damage and believe they can teach him cause every team has ego's but for here as the starter he has one last audition.

I'll even go so far as to say it's a make or break preseason for Griffin. If he shows no improvement in his fundamentals towards becoming a pocket passer, the hook will be relatively quick. He will probably make it out of training camp, but won't get more than a few starts before they yank him if no positive steps are made.

You could be right about this being a make or break season for him, but I doubt it and here's why. Improvement is too subjective and not the singular basis that determines his future. If he shows improvement in mechanics, and getting the ball out of his hand quickly and the team falters will that be enough? Well, not for those insisting on wins. If he proves to be a fairly competent game manager, that wont be enough to stop the howls coming from those who want to see the 2012 version. Even if he returns to the 2012 version (which BTW doesn't fit J. Gruden's offense) and the losses mount, the angry birds will not only call for his removal but Gruden's as well. That is what subjective analysis gets you and will no doubt be the reason why questions about Griffin continue into next season here.
