Is there a gif or vid of the Phaneuf hit? I was listening to the game on my way home and the TML announcer on 680 said Dion absolutely filled in Horton. Did he crunch him or was the radio pxp guy exaggerating?

if he is talking about what led to that goal in OT there was no way he filled him in. it looked like he went to get him and then tried to get his knee but Horton avoided him and crashed down. not much contact

There was virtually no contact. Contrary to myth and legend, Phagoof didn't target his knees. It was just a pinch gone horrifically wrong; at no point does it appear that Phagoof stuck his leg out. IMO, Reimer looked too far back in his net on the goal, too.

Reimer will probably make a correction for next time; Phagoof will probably think he has to skate in harder and faster.
