The Tugnutt of 1991 or the Tugnutt of today?

Does it matter?

On another note it's nice to see Chris do well, even if it is just to make his dad happy. Ray remains one of my favourites of all-time. I rank him right behind Orr and Potvin, and just ahead of Lidstrom, on my list of all-time D.

Gotta add Eddie Shore, Ted Lindsey, and Larry Robinson to the discussion IMO

I love Robinson; this hit was a classic in my house growing up.

Shore was awesome by all accounts, but I never watched him.

Ted Lindsay was a winger. :spy:

Wow - Cherry makes it through a whole Coach's Corner w/o one abrupt, mid speech change of topic or completely incoherent statement.

Has that ever happened before? :D

That being said, the guys I originally posted had the best balance of defense and scoring, IMO.

We used to laugh at the way Eddie Shore played when he first came into the league but he sure got good in a hurry.

LOL. Kessel can't buy a goal.

Poor guy. I'd hate to be a donut in Toronto tonight.

Seeing Marchand crying like a 4-year-old with a skinned knee must warm the hearts of Canuck fans.

As much as Marchand is a little fuckhead, I hope it's not serious.
