Nothing stupid about it. Pete said the Yankees didn't even bid on any of those guys. So that's just shitty scouting, or Hank cut the Int'l budget, or Igawa gave them cold feet on IFA's or something like that.

I already stated that Dice-K ruined the Red Sox having interest in top-tier IFA's. They have been on the sidelines ever since.
