I knew about the vandalism charge which he plead not guilty to. But disturbing the peace? What is that about?

He's just pleading to lesser charge. Disturbing the peace is kind of a generic minor charge. It's typically an indication the case against him was weak. This would wrap up the domestic violence charge.

It seems to me the DA felt Miller got off so they are trying to get him charged with something

This is the same case. It's not like this is a new charge. Disturbing the peace is as close to a dismissal as you'll get, but it is still a conviction.

LOL, what I was trying to say was the DA probably felt like Miller did something that deserved to be charged as DV but there wasn't enough evidence so the DA is resorting to this ticky tack stuff. I would suspect in some venues the DA wouldn't even bother with a case like this, specifically the vandalism charge. Heck, they have enough to do just going after the taggers.
