...for Flight 175 from Boston on 9/11/01, the 2nd plane to hit the Twin Towers. His meeting was rescheduled about 5 days before the flight and he changed his flight. Unfortunately, Kings' scouts and his friends Ace Bailey and Mark Bavis did not change their flights and were killed on the flight. Maybe this is old news to some, but I had never heard about this.

yah I knew about this ... TSN will be featuring this story in one of their remembering 9/11 vignettes this afternoon i believe (on sportscentre or thats hockey)

yesterday they showed the story of Denis Potvins brother Jean ... who was a broker in a building just 2 blocks away from the WTC on 9/11 ... talked about watching the jumpers ... very sombre stories

I have a friend at work that was suppose to be on that flight as well. He went out drinking and overslept. Missed the flight. He felt weird for a couple of months. He also missed two more weeks of work.
