Yeah, they showed the world what Bear fans had missed out on. Not even 80 yards of total offense.....what a offensive genius.

Todd Bowles? I believe he did as bad as Mel Tucker did against the Panthers.

Stil, want him as your head coach ?

I think Lindley was a much bigger cause of that than Bowles and Arians were. You can't do much as an offense when the QB can't throw a football to save his life. You also can't expect much from your defense if your offense is a 3rd and out machine.

And yes, I still want Arians as a head coach. I haven't done much research on Bowles though. Either way, the bears will not fail to hire a shitty head coach and GM. It's what they are known for. Lovie was their only semi bright spot.

Well... leo's got a point.
That was the Chicago Bears during the Lovie Smith era.

What does that Arizona team do with a better QB? Win? Probably.
Can you win playoff games with a backup QB, even with a good defense? Nope.

This situation doesn't prove this point because Lindley isn't even a backup. He's a backup to the backup.

Beengay- I was inferring and linking to the Cutler situation. The Bears have a shit defense, Arizona has/had a good defense. Many believe the Bears need to move on from Jay, a fair point, but even with a Todd Bowels and good defense you can't win. (just like the Lovie Bears)
That's what it would be, yet again, if Jay was let go. Even IF they could build up the D. They would still need a QB, just like Arizona did.

So, were fucked for the next 6 years? I agree, only I think it'll be much longer than that.

So the great Arians couldn't even devise a game plan to help his "QB" out? That makes me think he is just a lucky coach

Lucky coaches don't win two coach of the year awards and win 11 games with three different QBs. You are clueless.

Arians was down to his 3rd string QB in Lindley. That guy is practice squad material and shouldn't be on any roster as the 3rd string QB. He sucks big time.

:L You're an idiot if you really think this is a valid argument. Lindley makes jay cutler look like Peyton manning.

Leomaz, do us all a favor. Tell us which coach...including any great coaches...would win with a third string rookie qb in the playoffs? If they lost, would they suddenly suck?

I'd bet Belichick would lose next week if Brady and garrapolo were out. If that happened, would Belichick suddenly suck?

I think Arians has done a great job. Coach of the Year worthy.
