For years like most everyone I used IE as my browser ... then about two years ago after having problems posting over at BBTIA Joey recommended that I switch to Chrome ... and it is my primary browser now except for those primarily government sites for which Chrome doesn't work.

I have loading problems here with Chrome the last few months. Pages load and then reload and scrolling isn't smooth.

What browser do you guys use or do I need to do something different in my configuration setup for Chrome or Windows 7?

Thanks --

I've been using the free Mozilla Firefox browser for months now and loving it.

It has a feature that puts a red line under questionable spellings but it tends to treat
non-english names or words as errors, so one has to be careful about that.

:agree:

I use Firefox for most things, except some Google stuff that works better with Chrome (we use a lot of Google Drive at work), but even then most things (99%) work just fine with Firefox

I also have a Mac, so that also is a factor, but i NEVER use Safari, it is terrible

Firefox is the least buggy browser I've ever used. Chrome was solid when it worked, but it crashed a lot and it also ate up loads of memory. Like double what FF would use.

To my friends ... I loaded up Firefox today and it is far smoother than Chrome so far. Pages don't reload in the middle of scrolls. Will spend the next weeks exploring its features. Thanks for the advise!
