What you got to love is that now Paxton Lynch has Anderson, Booker, DT, Sanders, and Okung all locked down through the 2019 season. Definitely giving the QB a great shot to have success early in his career.

Agreed! Honestly wouldn't surprise me just knowing Elway if he is already starting to work on a trade to get help at either of those positions. He is one of the few GM's not afraid to make a trade after the season starts to help possibly bolster the team.

I would have loved Elway beating NE for Bennett but I'm sure they thought Heurmann might be a key piece this year but right now his body looks like its not built to play NFL football.

From what I understand Kubiak is none too happy with Heuerman right now. I honestly think they would have kept a 4th TE if they knew that Heuerman was going to sit out this first game. Sounds like he told the coaches he was feeling great which in turn made them feel a bit more comfortable only keeping 3 TE's then right after cut downs all of a sudden he couldn't practice again. Not exactly the best way to get in the coaches good graces. Now thankfully we do have a nice 10-day break before the next game so hopefully Heuerman, Sambrailo, and Fowler will all be able to be active for that game.
