So pretty much the contract is now a 4-year/$38.6 million deal! Cheaper than I thought we would get him for. I figured they would bump up this year and he would be getting closer to $12 million a year on the other 3-years of the deal. Good deal for both sides.

Nobody should be happier about this deal than that of Siemian and Lynch! They have a dynamic duo to throw to for the next 4-years.

This also means that Elway has been true to his word once again of Sanders, Miller, and Marshall all being high priorities for this team to get done this off season. Means next off season the Broncos don't really have many players they have to re-sign beyond the RFA's or ERFA's. Darian Stewart is probably the only other big name left if the Broncos want to get a deal done with him next off season.

He would be another name to add to the list for sure of guys the Broncos might try to re-sign. He needs a big year though for the team to view him as a core player worth re-signing. Right now he is more of a part-time starter that is taken out most of the time on nickel formations. Maybe the injury to Walker allows Sly to show off a bit more of his addition in the pass rushing game this year. Otherwise we can find a run stuffing NT pretty easily in this league.

I did not like the singing . I thought he was not the type I like ..I like players that are productive To that point I had not really seen it in my mind . I did not like him telling KC he was in then backing out .. I thought he was kind of fickle ....

Boy was I wrong . So damn glad we cut Sanchez to have the money to Sign Sanders . His taking a discount tells me he loves the Broncos . Damn good guy !!!

Before this deal the Broncos were projected to have around $50 million in cap space. So this deal takes them depending on the 1st year cap hit of this deal down to around $39 million. They still have the option of letting Talib go which frees up $10 million. So again still around that $50 million even with the signing of Sanders.

Yup. Honestly if he didn't have such a big dead money hit this year I think he might have been gone this year after the off season that happened and the talent we have at the position. I'm glad we kept him as our Corner depth looks incredible but it will be the Harris and Roby show moving forward.

Is this a shift in Elway? In think so. After seeing Tavon sign( I think Manny got $27 MM guaranteed. Tavon $30 MM. ) they came together not in a hometown discount but a fair market value contract knowing waiting will just propel the price.

They learn this with Brock and Von and now Manny . There will always be another team willing to take the market even higher if they wait it out.

Kudo for adjusting to make sure they sign the players they want to keep early and at a fair market value.

This makes me very, very happy. I had my doubts when we initially signed Sanders, and man was I wrong. Not only has he excelled on this team, he is the heartbeat of this offense. Tough as nails and clutch. I'm on cloud nine and I'm a defense first guy. He is my favorite offensive player, great, great move!
