James Daniels is the best ol left followed closely by Hernandez.

As a DB lover it is always fun when your team needs one, it also sucks when everyone in your division needs one too. Saw the Chargers take my fav DB in the draft last night. now the Raiders and Chiefs will likely select one tonight. (That always make me nervous) ;).

My luck James Washington will end up on the Chargers too. My two favorite players in this draft, drafted by the Chargers? Let's hope not. But it sure as hell is better than Oakland or Kansas City.

I expect a lot of DB's to go in round 2 and 3 tonight.

For real? 3rd round grade on Miller? I thought it was way too early for him, but I had a late 1st early 2nd on him. I knew the Raiders loved him, when they moved down to 15 my first though was they wanted to move down for Miller (twice), but when Derwin James was still left on the board I thought for sure they were taking him. I was standing on top of the bridge ready to jump if I heard Derwin James name called to the Raiders... When I heard Kolton Miller I nearly fell off due to laughter and relief. I figured if anything they would move up from their 2nd into the late first to grab him.

I've always been a huge supporter of Christian Kirk. He has been my #1 WR in this draft the entire process followed by DJ Moore, then Ridley then Sutton then my guy James Washington. I feel like I've stuck with Kirk when everyone sorta dropped him. Would not mind at all going that route.. If I had my way we'd grab Rudolph or OG here in the 2nd and James Washington in the 3rd in my perfect world. :)

No TE this early. To me we pretty much just took Jake Butt in the 2nd round this year. (That's how I look at it)

I like Chubb but not the type of RB I am looking for, for Denver.

The pick I was surprised at the most was Raashad Penny. I don't get it at all. There are a lot of good RB's left and Seattle needed OL very bad there. I like Penny but I never ever though he would go in round 1 and before Chubb.

I just view Kolton Miller as such a raw prospect when there were other tackles still on the board that offered much more immediate impact. Maybe he has some high upside because he is athletic for his size for sure but I was just not a fan of him at all.

So are we calling Shane Ray a bust at this point?

I wouldn't call him a complete bust just not a guy that lived up to the hype. He is a hard one to judge though because most of his issues have been injury related. I mean when he was healthy in the 2016 season he did have 8 sacks that year so I wouldn't call him a bust but he is a player you can move on from for sure.

Well, let's hope he can stay healthy. Three dominant pass rushers are better than two.

3 came in one game. So 5 for the other 15 games.

I'm not saying he is some great player. For me I view a bust as that of Jarvis Moss who didn't even have 8 sacks for his career after going in the 1st round. Shane has at least contributed some to the team and their success.

I still really like Shane Ray and I think he's poised for a breakout year (finally), with the wrist injury behind him. I hope I'm right. I would hate to see Barrett traded but I could definitely see that happening at some point.

I don’t see is getting much for either.

And I certainly wouldn’t extend Shane.

Especially after drafting Chubb I highly doubt they give him his 5th year option and risk him being injured at the end of the season.

I think Shaq plus our 3rd (not comp) could get us to mid round 2

Honestly, even if it’s just swapping positions with someone in the 4th or 5th round, for Shaq’s sake, I hope he gets a chance to play elsewhere. He’s been a great story and I hope it continues.

Patriots and 49ers completed a trade. They are sending Trent Brown and the #143 pick to NE for the #95 pick.

I would say the moves made by the Patriots means they don't trust the guys at tackle they have on the roster to actually be healthy right now.

Shane Ray wouldn't exactly be an extension. It is a 5th year option, so we aren't locking him in long term just picking up an option. I would see what we can get for him in a trade. It's sad, we really thought we stole one there. I still think he could be ok if he ever gets healthy but I am down for shopping him. Also won't mind giving him another year.

Shaq Barrett I am a bit less oppose to. Guy is the most underrated player on our team. By no means do we just give him away for a late round pick. I want something decent for him if we do move him.

Max Garcia at this point Ill take a late round pick.

I wouldn't pay anything for Max Garcia - who for whatever irrational fan reason of mine - was a very disappointing draft pick.

Shaq - needs to stay - too valuable as a backup and ST player.

Shane Ray - shied away from stopping the run - those times he did play - not sure if the losing streak took something out of him - or he has ambition limitations as a player.

Meh, Garcia wasn't bad for a 5th round pick. I had high expectations but for a 5th rd pick can't whine too much. I just had higher expectations from him than your normal 5th round pick. We could get something for him too, it won't be much, but an interior OL with 2 years of starting experience who is still young, you just don't give him away, if that is the case you bring him to camp to compete again. I'd take a day 3 pick for him.
