Haha well last offer I heard was the Cardinals were considering offering their 1st this year, next year, and the year after that plus more.

Buffalo last I heard were offering their 2 1st round picks, 2 3rd round picks, and a future 2nd or 3rd round pick next year.
That is Sonny Weaver type stuff

Looks like a pretty complete list. I think people have to keep in mind that the Broncos have not picked a QB in the top-10. Elway is the closest thing but they traded for him. So if you count Elway then they have a 100% success rate when picking that high. I'm going to have to look up the stats but the QB hit rate after the top-10 is a huge drop off.
Cutler was #11 so he was the closest top 10 drafted QB .

Think Andrew Mason posted something like All Pro QB 67% are top 10.

So just found the numbers and I guess this depends on what is your definition of a successful draft pick?

Multi year starters taken in the top-16 is 81%. QB's taken 17-32 it drops to 65%. 48% in the 3rd round, 25% in the 4th, 13% in the 4th, 6% in the 5th, 16% in the 6th, and 6% in the 7th. So again just tough because being a starter for multiple years isn't always the best test of a successful pick since some just get more opportunities than others because of being a high pick. This is going back to 1990 by the way.

It baffles me that more haven't listed him higher until about the last week or so.
My question is:
Will Mayfield’s intangibles be positive or negative? I think the ceiling for either answer is high.

From what I have gathered the Broncos have taken Rosen off their board. Character concerns and durability are just making it hard for them to think he will be a long-term player in the NFL.

I think a few teams have taken Rosen off their board at least for round 1, not totally.

Tough to honestly know. He is immature. I would highly recommend watching his facebook documentary series. Parts of it get you excited about him and others show his immaturity. He is a high risk/high reward kind of player.

Well by taking him off their board I mean they expect him to go 1st round as some teams still love him but they won't be one of the teams to take him that high.

Right, I understood.

Just saying seems like he might slide a bit due to some injury concerns and character. I remember a lot during the season a lot of scouts were very unappealing to his character. There were some comparisons of a Jay Cutler like attitude in him.

At some point you need internal drive to success not the external forces he seems to zero in on now like bad tweets and his shortness.

I am going to be pissed if Rosen is selected by NE. He seems to know the NFL is about reading the play and getting the ball out quickly to the right player. Everything else is gravy.

If Denver can trade back and still get Rosen that would be awesome.

I asked yesterday why not just trade with Clev
They are now open for business at #4 and looking to do damage

I could imagine a Goedert/Butt tandem with the Broncos. That could be incredible.

IMO if we take a TE early it means bad news on Butt. He's sorta like an extra 2nd round pick this year.

Don't feel like we are in a good position to take a TE early unless we aren't suddenly as high on Butt.

You're probably right but I can still dream, can't I?
