This brings up an interesting point and underscores another difference between Kubiak and Fox. Fox left the IR players behind on the Super Bowl trip, flying them in only two days before the game. Kubiak brought every last man. IR, practice squad, didn't matter. It didn't sit well in 2013, but it just showed how Kubiak valued each member of the team in a year where so many different players contributed. I think that decision really enhanced that "us against the world" mentality the team needed in a week where 8 out of 10 analysts gave them no shot whatsoever to win that game.

Huerman is going to make pro bowl next year. Book it! I've only been wrong on 80% of my " book it's ".

Nice. Team ought to name him the fist annual Riley Odoms Award recipient. Tom Herman could present the trophy!

Seriously? That selection was a head scratcher for me...

Heureman was a an interesting pick. Julius Thomas was tremendously productive during PFM's first three years in town, but he was really used more as a WR than a TE.

Really think that a more traditional TE will be a big part of the offense going forward. Hope that Huerman is that guy.

Yes - this is based on the idea that it is no longer a "mythical" national champion in college football - it is now a sanctioned game by the NCAA - and JH is the only guy who has both those rings - now.

I did too actually and I still think he was drafted a bit high but he does look exactly like a Kubiak style TE. He is the hardnosed guy that is willing to work as hard as a blocker as that of a receiver. He also got a ridiculous endorsement from his college coach calling him one of the best players he has ever coached in his career. So he fits what Elway loves in that kicking and screaming type guy that will outwork everybody. So it makes a lot more sense when you look at who the player is and the type of player the Broncos are looking for.
