You mean an NFL qb made some throws that were on target and his receivers caught the ball? Holy shit! Congratulations, that's what he's supposed to do, it's his job. Let me know when Colquit laces one out from 40 yards on a rope. Hey my cashier gave me the proper change today at the grocery store, perhaps I should recommend her for employee of the month

.. and speaking of soft players

Demaryius Poppins - one catch vs the Pats .. one catch and 13 targets - how many did he drop ?

You can actually hear Al Michaels say "FINALLY" in that highlight reel when Thomas caught is lone pass ..

That was a huge problem all season with him... that was why I not as vocal with the skin Manning crowd .. hell everyone was talking the picks I was thinking some WR's need to catch the damn football and if not knock the football out of the defenders hands .. that is why I love Flowers and Sanders they were aggressive and acted like they wanted the football at all cost the powered to the Football and was not soft .

Yepp just like in the Patriots game when he drove the Broncos to the game leading T.D. Mentally frail. I'd care less if Brock holds a grudge or not but in the long run Brock going to Houston was the best for the Broncos and probally what he thinks is best for him. I wish him nothing but GL until they face the Broncos. Can't hate on the guy for any reason. He was part of the reason for the Broncos becoming Super Bowl champs. Peace.
Right. He was good in the Patriots game. Where was that mental toughness in the Raiders game? Where did it go in the San Diego game? Why was he unable to finish the job against the Steelers? Where was this mental toughness when he was faced with Peyton Manning's shadow?

I was a big supporter of Oz from the beginning. Denver selected him as an insurance policy in case Peyton's neck wouldn't let him play. No, he wasn't needed until last year when he filled in admirably.

What I didn't like is what transpired in free agency. No home-team discount to the team to the team that nurtured him as a pro. But, what irritated me was the fact that he didn't even communicate with the Broncos - his mind was already made up.

I really admire loyalty. If some other team offers far more money they should take it. But if the numbers are similar go with your former team. That is why Harris and Wolfe are two of my favorites. They want THIS team to be a winner and still have all the money they will ever need.

Brock Osweiler = the new Jay Cutler. Screw 'im. Paxton Lynch is the future. Can't wait to see the 50-0 blowout Lynch lays on Oz's Texans.

Spoken like a true business owner.

Reminds me of my favorite BBQ place ever - Slicks in Muskogee, OK. Of course a cash only place back in the day. I'd pay for lunch, let's say it was $9. $4 would go in the register and $5 in Slick's pocket.

Guess we will see if the defense holds a grudge or not. I'm not betting with Oz though.

We invited Brock to go to White House to meet the Prez, he declined. Despite this crab acting like a spoiled, entitled prick, Elway shows he is all class

Well I will say I do think Elway took a little bit of a shot at Osweiler yesterday though...

He said "Gary did a great job last year, and obviously it wasn't exactly the way Brock wanted to see it handled. Obviously I think that had something to do with where he was, but obviously Houston wanted him that bad to go ahead and pay him a whole heck of a lot of money. Gary knows the positions--he's coached the position, he's played it--so he has a good feel for it. He handled it well last year and he'll find the right guy this year, whoever it may be."

I might be reading way too much into this but to me sounds like Elway is saying 2 things

1) Houston vastly overpaid and if any team knows Brock it is us and there is no way we would pay that much for this guy.

2) Even with Manning banged up the coaches could see that Osweiler was not ready to handle all the pressures that come with making a run at the Super Bowl so better to take a veteran that can't throw than the young guy that can't handle the situation.

I do think that Elway is a bit hurt by Osweiler not wanting to stay with the Broncos. I mean the team invested 4 years of decent money, coaching hours, and so much more into this kid and then he just bails because he feels slighted a bit that he got benched for a HOF QB. I mean I remember when I was interviewing to become a police officer a few years back that when they asked how long I planned on staying with them and said at least 5-years they threw a fit. The guy said I need to hear you say at least 20 years. He said we are about to invest about $250,000 over this next year to train you to become the officer we need you to be. If we are going to put that kind of money into you we don't want to see you leave just a few years later to another agency.
