He isn't signing here. Why would he, our GM is too busy doing PR stunts in Afghanistan to even meet with him.

Say it aint so? In a way I feel bad for Connolly. The Isles rushed him & hurt his development. He had so much raw skill as an 18 year old. The skill is still their. He can dangle with anybody. He's just never put it all together. That hasn't stopped him from making a lot of money though.

This is what fans like me, who have faithfully supported this team for over 20 years, get for all the $$ we have poured in tickets and Leafs merchandise. Burke will now undoubtedly find the nearest throng of cameras to explain why he failed horribly yet again. Not that he can't ever see past his own arrogance or narrow minded view of the league, but I'm sure the rising costs is something he "wanted no part of". I don't maybe, maybe Brad didn't have enough truculence, or wasn't an American born star he can jizz all over like his pet Phil Kessel.

Anyway, keep running the Leafs and all your teams into the ground MLSE. Nobody does it better than you guys do. We will still be spending our hard earned money on them because we have heart, unlike any of you thieving cowards.
