They must be basing it on our number of returning starters vs the others in the SEC.

TA&M should have a top 15 team, but #6 sounds a bit high. Of course, playing in the SEC West, it'll work itself out.

I hate to say it, but the team team to watch out for could be Auburn.

Ole Miss @ #25 isn't as bad as it might seem. But they have a brutal schedule and probably are gonna get fucked up at the beginning of the season. However, if they can pull off a couple of upsets that ranking won't look so bad.

To start the season 4/5 of their first opponents are:

LSU

Their offense will be solid. They're returning a bunch of starters on O. The defense will be the ?. They played in a bunch of close games this year that they only lost by a single score against good competition, including Memphis, Cal, Texas A&M, Auburn and Mississippi State. While I don't expect them to contend in the SEC West, a ranking somewhere on the bubble of the top 25 doesn't seem that far fetched.

As far as Kiffin I do think he'll improve them, but by how much and how quickly idk. But, I look forward to seeing.

We're in the offseason, which means that Texas is back!!

Bama got back a lot of Key juniors.

Got 1 of our 2 1st round tackles back.

Got 1 of our 3 1st round receivers back to pair with Waddle.

Got Najee Harris back to pair with Trey Sanders

Most importantly got our defensive Leader Dylan Moses back.

And Mac Jones looked really good at the end of the season.

Where QB King ends up could matter - Ole Miss could use him and Joey Freshwater would use his skills well. LSU is another destination that has been mentioned. LSU people, what say you about King at QB? What else you got?

I don't see Clemson at 1. They'll probably lose Etienne, are losing Higgins, and are losing 4 of their 5 offensive linemen. Simmons was the only thing holding the front 7 together, and he'll be gone too. I'd also expect AJ Terrell to be gone, and that will be alongside Tanner Muse and Kvon Wallace. They recruited great, but I doubt those 5 stars will be ready to step in immediately.
