After six seasons, the Chris Petersen era came to an end at Washington, when he announced he was stepping down after the Las Vegas Bowl. Defensive coordinator Jimmy Lake takes over as the head Husky. Lake’s priorities will be replacing eight senior starters and junior quarterback Jacob Eason, who opted to leave early for the NFL Draft. The Huskies’ defense should be their strength, featuring three players — LB Edefuan Ulofoshio and DBs Asa Turner and Trent McDuffie — who started as freshmen last season.

They’ve got UGA a little low IMO.

Last season the team was all defense with no offense and that was good enough for a top 5 finish.

Defense should be better this season and the offense should have a new wrinkle with a dual threat QB and an improved group of receivers

Surprised Notre Dame is below USC. The Irish have had a better team the past four years or so and SC has been a clown car with coaches. I think the QB position favors USC which might explain the difference.

LSU at 3 seems a bit high for them IMO. I have them somewhere in the teens.
