Well he missed his 1st Fg ever tried for the Cowboys. But have made 8 straight since.

So as Zeke Elliott says.
Appreciate you!

Before Bailey, attempting a FG was a wild card. Seeing a lot of missed FGs this year by Kickers. Moving from one of the best all time to a new kicker that never kicked in the NFL before has been a concern to me. So far so good right now. Still have no idea how his leg is yet, but for now I will take a kicker that can be accurate until we Learn if he has a leg for long ones or not. :thumb:

Of course money was a factor, but it was also said his leg is much stronger. He has had a few touch backs but not as many as I thought he would. With that being said - he ripped all 4 FGs this week. They all looked great.

I was thinking about kickoffs the other day and strategy.

I would not want a touch back. I want it around the 5 yard line. It seems they very rarely get past the 25. The thing is, almost every time I see a kick off that is returned there is a penalty against the receiving team and it gets placed somewhere around the 12 yard line.

Now I haven't studied it but that is just a quick observation.

I would agree until this year. The rules have changed slightly and it benefits the return team. It’s crazy because the new rules are designed to help the return team and create more returns, however more people get hurt on kick offs than any other play supposedly. I’ve said it before - I hate the 25 yard line for touch backs. I like the 20. I don’t mind 20 - 17 games. That’s just me.

As far as our kickoffs, maybe he is kicking it higher wanting a return- where as Bailey would kick it through the end zone.
