You probably haven’t seen this movie yet. If you have there’s been an update. This movie is about an event that happened near my neck of the woods. It was about 3 boys that fell through the ice of a lake and the firefighters fighting to save the boys, one in particular who was under the water for several minutes. One of the firefighters had an experience with God during the search for the last boy and ended up saving his life. This firefighters name was Tommy Shine.
Well, Tommy Shine recently had an operation and something went wrong and he slipped into a coma. Blood flow got really weak afterwards and they had to give him drugs to concentrate the flow to his organs. This meant blood flow was not going to his extremities. They had to amputate both legs, a hand, and I believe four fingers on the other hand. The doctors were getting ready to pull the plug when the kid he saved showed up to visit. During the visit, Tommy started talking when the doctors believed he was brain dead.
If you’re interested, it might be a movie you want to watch. It’s a Christian movie, but it’s crazy how it has come full circle. If you’re willing, please pray for this man.
