To me speed limits are merely suggestions, like things you might like to do with Rice Krispies.

I drive quickly but safely and I firmly believe it is 100% possible to drive very quickly and yet safely if the hardware permits. And the driver is capable and alert.

The last time I went 135 MPH was a little over 4 weeks ago. It was sublime...

Friend of yours?

Nope. Most of my friends are pussies who observe the speed limits to the decimal point.

In the last week I've followed 2 law enforcement vehicles for very long periods of time on our highway.

First was an RCMP cruiser and he went right on the dot 15 KPH over the posted limit. It was funny because other cars allowed him to go past and simply dropped behind. I on the other hand matched him KPH per KPH. Watched his "six" until he turned off at an exit.

The second was a Sheriff in an Expedition. Up here sheriffs ferry prisoners about and stuff like that. He was empty and heading home. Averaged almost 25 KPH over the limit. Again, I stayed right on his tail the whole way home. Most everybody else again dropped way back.

We seem to be getting off topic.

Here, allow me to refocus the discussion.

Tom Brady cheated.

Let me guess people in your area will not pass a cop even if said cop is doing 5 under. Lots of idiots do that here, not me though, I'll pass him up and after I put a little distance between us off I go.

I drove 135mph on 293S and no one (including me) was in any danger. I am a bit more savvy than the Pato in that photo and I knew where the road was least likely to be monitored and I also did it when the traffic was almost non-existent.

You are correct.

Not everybody and most definitely not me, but a lot will just stay behind.

I like cruising by with my radar detector visible on the dash.....

Fuck those guys.

My car feels just as stable at over 100 MPH than it does toodling around town.

And it has the ability to pop your eyes out under heavy braking.

I hate those fuckheads who are afraid to pass a slow driving cop, they should know the cop is doing it on purpose to see how he can keep behind him.

Like I said, I'll stick to them if lights are off and they are cruising.

If they are being silly buggers, I ease on down the road till I no longer see them and then resume....
