If they would had of been honest from the git go, I'm sure the penalty would have been 2 games and maybe a fine for Brady alone, but they decided to fight and it cost them dearly.....The bad thing about lying is you have remember it to a tee and tell a bunch more to make it believable, and when stir up a bunch of false accusations on your boss, it's gonna be ugly for you !!!!

So for manipulating equipment which carries a $25k fine you would've gave a two game suspension and the fine? I think that puts you in the running for next commish

The problem is that smart football people (like me) know he's a myth so he's not an option to actually play but they'll do a one or two year deal with him to be the face of the franchise, sell tickets, sell jerseys and maybe help out on the practice squad.
