Probably true, but the dude is pretty sharp IMO. He knows what he wants to do and doesn't worry about the way things ''should be done''. Reminds me a lot of Jimmy Johnson

Jarntt, it seems like Philly is dumping big contracts across the board. He's pretty much admitting that he can't compete with Dallas and is looking down the road. Maclin is gone IMO. He had a great year and would have put up 1500 yards if Foles didn't get hurt. But he isn't a Dez/Megatron type. It's obvious Philly is taking a step back. Losing McCoy, Desean and Maclin in 12 months is a big hit. I think Chip sees this team can't compete with Dallas. I'm just worried his ego is so big that he thinks anyone can run his system. It looks like he's also saying by the time he fixes the Defense, Lesean will be old and expensive . For the Eagle fans who think they Eagles will load up in FA, I think you'll be disappointed. They are cutting ties with EVERY big contract player. The good news is we are gonna win the salary cap SB again and go into 2015 25 million under the cap. Dallas wins the division in a landslide and the Giants take 2nd.

Oh, and excellent point on Alonso having a nice DLINE to protect him. But Philly has a very good D Line ahead of him in Philly. He is a player but Inside LBERS aren't a very valuable position. Say good bye to Demeco Ryans. The didn't get much better at ILB, just younger.

Any chance Chip clearing house is to go after game changers like Suh and not Murray? Chip's looking at the draft exactly like the rest of the NFL. Get younger and cheaper at RB. Chip could just be starting to make noise.

At onerous $50 million in cap room, they could add $20 Million a year for Suh and $10 million for Murray and still be $20 million under the cap. Scary thought. I agree that Cobb is a great fit there as well

Plenty of cap room to fill those holes it would seem, and then there's the draft. Lot of time left before camp for teams to address needs. Hard to tell at this point in the year what teams really are, or why they will look like when the season starts. That said I prefer the Eagles to stink every year

I think they have a lot of things going for them, but I don't mind seeing them give away guys like Desean Jackson and Shady McCoy....at all

I think the demise of Foles was overblown. But it may be more about him not fitting into chips system than anything.

At some point he will be back to being a decent starter somewhere.

He was playing this flawless type football that you just knew was not going to be sustainable.

I remember predicting he would regress a bit. But right after that I said Eli would get benched ...so there's that.

certainly the stars aligned two seasons ago for Foles. Could very well be his only Pro Bowl. Time will tell
