Hudson versus Sanchez at home. Clearly in ATL's favor. If the Braves don't win it's very likely that Lincecum pitches again and duplicates his game 1 effort. Most likely Lowe would pitch against Lincy though so that is my Braves only advantage.
I think the Braves win tomorrow and lose the Lincecum game though. Giving a 2-2 tie going into Hanson versus Cain in San Fran.

Whoever wins game 3 will definitely have a great deal of momentum. If the Giants win it then the key is how the Braves hitters adjust to Lincecum after last game. Another key to the remainder of the series is if fatass keeps pissing me off by sucking so much or if he steps up or rides the bench.

kung fat panda?
Idk what his deal is this year. I wouldn't be surprised if he gets pushed to the bench within a few years.

Nice hahaha. Hopefully if he does get pushed to the bench it's on a team that thought he was a good cheap investment when they traded a great prospect or established star to us for him.

I think Boch has already stated that is the plan.

If we win tomorrow, we see Bum in 4 and Timmeh in 5. If we lose tomorrow, we see Timmeh in 4, Cain in 5.

Hudson since 9/1: 5.32 era, 1.39 WHIP, .263/.335/.491 (.826 ops) opponents batting

Sanchez since 9/1: 1.01 era, 1.04 WHIP, .151/.271/.261 (.532 ops) opponents batting

I don't take the Braves lightly at all, especially in their home park. But given the recent performance of the starting pitchers I don't see how they have much of an advantage in this one.

There's another factor that plays to the advantage of each team that doesn't necessarily show up in the stats. Sanchez is a lefty that gets a lot of strikeouts, and 2 of the 3 most dangerous hitters on the Braves are lefties that are very vulnerable to the strikeout. Hudson's ground ball tendencies also play well against a team that GIDPs as much as the Giants. So this game in my opinion hinges on how well Sanchez controls himself and if he shuts down McCann and Heyward. Hudson needs to stay within his game and relax, if he does that the only thing that can beat him is the homerun ball that these Giants have become so dependent upon.
