4 seasons but he is 67 years old!

I'm of the belief that Weeden is not as bad as he is being made out to be. He basically played two games. In the Redskin game he came on in relief and played 2 series and the team scored 10 points in those two series. Then he shit the bed against AZ, but wasn't that the first game Murray didn't rush for 100 yards? And if we kick the FG in the 4th Qtr instead of going for it we are only down one point with a few minutes left.

Now don't get me wrong I don't love Weeden, I just don't think he is the pathetic player he seems to be made out to be. The one concerning thing to me is that he made a lot of mistakes and unlike most backups he played with the first team in every single Wednesday practice all year. We aren't winning a SB with Weeden, but you just need him to hold his own if Romo is out for a few games.

LMAO. When Dallas signed him I was happy to have him as a back up. I soured quickly on him watching him in limited action. Who knows maybe the 2 years in one system will help.

If they are touting an improved Weeden as a quality backup, sounds great. Touting him as improved as in the answer when Romo retires would be a whole different bag of beans....

That was a weird 2nd game he played in. Murray rushed 19 times while Weeden threw 33 times. Recipe for disaster in my opinion. Id have to go back and check, but I remember thinking in the first half that they were approaching the game all wrong. Cant recall if they fell in a big hole early or not.

No, we were leading early and I think it was close at the half (maybe down 1 TD?).

Edit: or I can just look it up!!! Remembered in general from when I looked the other day. 10-0 Dallas at the end of the 1st. 14-10 AZ at the half and still 14-10 until AZ scored with 6 minutes left.

Lol. I should have look it up myself. I remember going into that game thinking if they kept Weeden to 18-25 throws, and Murray carried the load, we would be golden. I know AZ was stout on the run D but 19 carries?
To be honest that's my real concern about this season. That we get too pass happy.

I hoping that if nothing else Romo learned in "14" that the run game is a QB's friend. Statically last year was Romo's best.

Weeden helping the Texans win when they were trailing is the icing on the cake to this bullshit season.

Not to mention it is the first time in their existence that the Texans have won in Indianapolis.

Wait, are you fucking serious? Weeden, the dude who couldn't win a fucking game for Dallas when they were trailing just helped the Texans win their first ever game in Indy? LMFAO

Glad to see our coaching staff with a full offseason and plenty of games to prepare was able to get Weeden ready to play and trusted him to throw the ball downfield enough to truly evaluate him after 3 games where he threw as many INTs as TDs and threw for over 70%. Weeden is laughing now....LOL. His team is in the playoff hunt and Jerrah lookin for a scape goat. Big Red just praying his team does not quit.
