Well it looks like Brandon Merriweather might be on the field when we play the Packers on Sunday, and we can sure use him if he's healthy and doesn't have any setbacks.

IM just not holding out hope on this guy any more. If we get him back and he produces like they say he can great. But I hope like hell we arent banking on him since last year he basically collected from the trainers table. And so far this year he has done the same. Im actually more hurt that Thomas ended up on IR.

This would be huge if he is healthy and can actually play, but let's face it, the guy will probably have a set back or go down during the game with some nagging injury. As stated above, hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

His return is HUGE for this defense though - not just by having a defensive play maker back there and not having to play players out of position, but also with the looks and blitzes we can dial up as a result of his speed. Hope he can play the full 60.

Can someone tell me why Biggers was playing SS Monday night? He is our worst tackling DB. I know Dougherty is slow but he is a good tackler for run support. Did he even get a defensive snap?

i think speed was the issue in this case .
