I need your help with a decision. Redskins will be picking in 11 picks. These are the BPA (my opinion) do you see anyone that will make it to us worth taking with #34 pick or should we trade back for more picks? I have 2 teams lined up with decent trade options for our pick if we decide to go that route.

Players available:
WR Matthews
WR Robinson
WR Landry
WR Benjamin
WR Moncreif

TE Amaro

OT Kouandjio
OT Moses

OG Yankey
OG Jackson

C M. Martin

DT Jernigan

ILB Borland

OLB Shazier

CB Verrett

FS Brooks

For the record the reason Falcons picked first is because the Texans GM Gkekoa traded them the pick in return for a lot.

It was a lot but not too much. According to the trade value chart, ATL got the best of the deal.

As Houston's GM I tried to get a 1st in 2015 but had to settle for a 2nd.

The ATL GM, ME, said he wouldn't give up that much for a non-QB.

Crafty negotiator.

With a handful of players there to fit our system, trade back once to acquire more picks. I would hate to miss out on Evans even though he may be gone by your pick.

Now, for the Redskin question:

It really depends on who is available. I was looking at Walter's rankings and a few other places and there are some differences.

Trade down or pick at 34 is the question but what is being offered? How far back are we talking? I have to know that to answer the question.

I cant give you that info because then you (Texans) will make the trade with the team and screw me over.

I'm not competing with you. I don't send out messages to teams so I can trade back. I would if I'm trading up.

I am going to make an offer before my pick on the board for those watching to trade back, likely. If nobody wants to move up, I'm taking somebody...it's simple. Telling me stuff here, won't affect there. I'm also trying to trade up into the 1st...don't tell anybody.

Moses is the most intriguing player on your list for me. I dont think K can move well enough to run the zone with us.

I lied...I forgot about Shazier. The man can flat out move and convert to ILB. He's already put on a little weight and is still running 4.4.

These are the only two I'd consider not trade down and keeping the pick.

I like Benjamin but we have a lot tied up into WRs.

I'm not a Verrett guy because of his size...sorry...size matters.

I think the Gs are weak in this draft.

I thought we were going Benjamen or Moses?

I'm a little skeptical with Shazier having to go inside 3-4, dunno if I'm hating or would feel better if we were a 4-3.

Lawrence Timmons is an absolute beast, or was. He's the size of Shazier. Shazier has the speed to pursue sideline to sideline and can cover like a 4-3 OLB.

I like both Benjamin and Moses. However Benjamin becomes a luxury pick "IF" we sign DeSean. OT Moses and Kouandjio (don't see him being available) I am all for it depending on if we decide pick or trade.

Here are the 2 trades and Gkekoa don't screw the Skins over and contact these teams :gaah:

Redskins trade the #34 (560pts) to the Dolphins for #50 (400), #81(185), and #112(70). Giving us plus 95points advantage.

Redskins trade the #34 (560pts) to the Jets for #49 (410), #104 (131), and #115 (64). Giving us plus 45point
advantage.

Ritz... Have to disagree. Even if we sign Jackson, we still dont have any height in the WR group. So Benjamin might be the safe and useful pick at 34 if he is there. Moses would be the current appeal to the masses pick for those screaming for Poluimbuses head on a pike. But 6'5" WR with good hands dont grow on trees. We could survie and do well another season even if Polumbus is the starting RT. So the pick should be Benjamin or the ILB.

Out of those two trades, I'd go with Miami...there's a huge difference in that 3rd round pick.

That is a good sized trade down.

Of the players you have listed, the only one I'd take over the trade is Shazier. I'd still like to evaluate the trade closer to the pick though...but at this point...I stick with Shazier only.

Arguably our weakest position is ILB.

Shazier has elite speed and has already put on weight. He has incredible game tape. Just saying.
