Blackhawks' Boynton suspended one game for gesture


While I agree that we can't have guys making "throat slash gestures" (in the story it says it's Boynton's second suspension for a gesture. What the fuck, Nick?), it's a little stupid that last season we had guys NOT getting fined or suspended for blindside hits to the head, but Nick sits a game for a gesture. Really? Are you sure we don't need to form a committee to look into the possibility of making a new rule that prohibits inappropriate hand movements, to take effect at the start of the 2012 season?
