So, do we want the larger Bowl against a team we will most likely lose to, or the smaller Bowl with a much more favorable match up?

I'm honestly torn.

Zona shitting the bed in the PAC CG didn't do us any favors. That being said, even with the PAC south log jam, I can't see us dropping to a at-large bid at 8-5, but could happen.

We find out today. So be it.... Go Dawgs!!!

Got a feeling it will be another Vegas bowl, which is fine, they need to get to the off season program and work a lot of things out, plus recruiting needs to be adjusted, no more of these kids that play for themselves, its the program first then there personal agenda..

Hope it's not the Vegas bowl if Boise doesn't get a Fiesta bid. We play them next year. Don't want to see a UW vs Boise St. LV bowl for 2014.
I'd be happy with a Cactus bowl bid. Sun would work, but think they pick someone else.

Kickoff is 8:15 p.m. MT/7:15 p.m. PT and will air live on ESPN.

The Huskies (8-5 overall and 4-5 in the Pac-12) will be playing in a fifth different bowl in the last five years and will be making its first appearance in the Cactus Bowl, formerly known as the Insight.com Bowl, the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl and the Copper Bowl, among others.

Oklahoma State (6-6 overall, 4-5 in the Big 12) qualified for the game with its overtime victory over Oklahoma Saturday. Washington has faced the Cowboys just twice in the two programs' histories with each team winning once. In 1980, the Huskies won 24-18 in Stillwater. In the 1985 season opener, OSU beat the UW, 31-17, at Husky Stadium.

As much as winning helps recruiting, I'm still just not that jacked up over this game. A great showing by Miles and you can write him in as a lock at the helm next year and do we really want that? :L

I guess the best I can hope for is UW to win, but Miles to still look bad.

Ok St is a team that lost 5 straight games before their rivalry game victory over Okla. They pulled a red shirt off their current QB just a couple of weeks before the end of the season. And the kid who had a huge return that won the game for them against Oklahoma is now not on the team. I'll be shocked if UW's defense doesn't shine in a big way for this game.

I'm going to go with 27 - 17 UW. But of course it isn't outside of the question that Miles fumbles several times and they give free scores away either.

Uninspired soft play all over the field. Both sides of the ball.

Pathetic coaching, pathetic play.

The bowl game was a fitting end to a disappointing year. Not a failure of a year, just disappointing. Hopefully Carta-Samuels can rock spring ball and win the starting job next year. 10 wins still seems like a pipe dream.

Have you seen our 2015 schedule? Even if we get some improved play with Samuels, we still don't have anything resembling a #1 RB to take pressure off another freshman QB and were losing seniors all over the lines and LB corps. The competition level in the PAC will give us no breaks. We aren't winning 10 games till 2016 or later.
