At least we haven't always sucked! :finger: Except for what the last two years.

Who has the Ohio Cup? I remember they split the series last year, sweeping each other on their home fields, but I can't recall who won it the year before.

Son of a... Mets certainly could've used him. I'm guessing the 4th year and the potential for a 5th was the selling point. I think the Mets only wanted to go 3. Oh well, now we keep the 11th pick in the draft and can use that salary on somebody next year when we might actually compete.

The Reds have been worthless, before the last couple years, for the last 20. While we were winning Division titles and in the playoffs every please. Please.

I'm not sure I would have wanted to go 4 on him either. It seemed to me that his speed could be declining and that's his biggest asset. His bat is still pretty good even though he was pretty streaky last season. Having said that, I'm glad he didn't land in the NL East.

It was a serious question, dbag. I honestly can't remember. Guess I'll go look it up myself.

This could make the Twins even more irrelevant than they already are. :pout:

Every team in the AL central that's not the Tigers has an uphill battle ahead of them this season though.

I wanted the Mets to sign Bourn but was afraid how much it was going to cost. The fact that they offered a 4-yr deal on or around $48million was a good sign. I am glad they didn't offer a 5th option on there.

This could be one of the greatest offers that was never signed for the Mets.

At the end of the day, good for Cleveland. Not only do they add another solid free agent, but they now have some flexibility in terms of trading assets to fill any remaining holes they have. I could see Stubbs being moved (maybe to the Mets?).
