Bought a new car last night

Wife wanted a 2nd vehicle. We never did get the SUV she was looking at. So we went to my dealer(not drugs). Drove a couple Challengers which have ZERO room in the back even for my 9 yr old. They also ride like a log wagon(I was disappointed). Drove a couple of Chargers too including a new Super Bee. Ended up buying a 2014 Dodge Charger in Plum Crazy Purple(Not the Super Bee due to the extra 8K in price). Has the Hemi, sport suspension, ECM Sport mode(HOLY SHIT!)Beats audio system, 8.4 inch touch screen display, heated seats, and all of the other gadgets. The dealer is having the resonators cut out of the exhaust for that great throaty sound. Now I just need to have the windows tinted and get my Zeibart protection put on. Will post pictures once all that is done.

My ram has the Hemi as well. But the Charger is much more fun to drive. If you know what I mean.

Nah. If that arises I just put my foot to the floor and I have a big smile. Now when I was signing the paperwork that is a whole different matter. Always feel hesitation while signing.

Me too. Probably because it takes me back to the 1968 Hemi Cuda my uncle had that was the same color.

Nah. Going to get some Black Racing stripes painted this summer though. Not sure whether to go flat black or gloss black.

Flat black, the purple is shiny enough.

Raced a guy in a Camaro last Saturday. I was just sitting at a light minding my own business and he "piped" me so I put it in sport mode(lots of fun, but watch the gas gauge go down) and beat him to 100mph. I will say for being a sedan it is quick as hell with the gearing in it. Now it makes me sad we did not get the Super Bee that they had.

Is there ever a time that someone should grow up when it comes cars? If so I am screwed because that is not going to happen.


Now if I do lose to someone in a GM and they live in my town I will just hop in the truck and run that P.O.S. over.
