So I was having a conversation with one of my fellow B's fans last night after the game in Montreal and I found myself getting really pissed off about the recent string of losses. This shouldn't be outside the norm being a B's fan it seems we are always pissed off about something, but there's a certain amount of guilt involved. I can see that they are play their hearts out on the ice, but it still just doesn't seem to be enough. I think my frustration is in the belief that we are better than how we have been playing. We put in a solid 40 minutes every night, but it just doesn't seem like we can consistently put together a solid 60 minute game.

I'm tired of teams getting the jump on us when we should be dominating defensively. Have you seen Thomas' save percentage and GAA? We should be winning way more consistently. All we should have to do is just put some shots in the net, sit back and get the puck out of our zone. Not only that, but why are we still struggling on the PP? If we took advantage of those opportunities more often, we would be at the top of our conference. We have depth, we have veterans, and we have arguably the best goalie in the league right now. I just don't understand what's going on.

Thanks I needed to vent...

The Bruins could use a boost from Savard and Seguin. Julien is really keeping a short leash on Seguin, but if Savard could find his touch again they'd really be in business.

I think Julien needs to go off on someone soon.

I had a debate with someone 2 weeks ago that the Bruins were better than the Canadiens, he tried to tell me that Price was unstoppable. I told him to look at the numbers Thomas is putting up! Regardless, it looks like i'm losing out on that debate.

Thomas still has the better numbers, but only time will tell about the rest.

I kind of get Julien's thinking on Seguin though, he wants to teach him defensive awareness, and to give him time to mature through the system he wants the team to play. On the other hand, I agree with you totally about Savard. If he starts playing anywhere near where he was in 2008-2009, this could be the most dangerous team in the Eastern conference.
